Infancy is one of the most exciting phases in a child's life.  We offer a safe, secure home away from home environment.  By offering consistent approval and interaction, teachers encourage infants to develop motor skills, language ability and social confidence.  Caregivers can be found singing, reading, cuddling, rocking or playing on the floor with the babies every day.  We work to help the child build a sense of security and lay a foundation for the development of confidence and trust.  We work closely with the parents to customize a daily routine that will fit the families' needs.  Each baby's routine is detailed on his/her "Baby Gram" which communicates back to you the happenings of the day
Our babies are divided by age group into two different classrooms:

Infant I begins at age 6 weeks up through 9 months. This separates the young "non-crawlers" from the mobile infants. At 9 months the children are transitioned to Infant II until they reach the age of 18 months. Both classrooms have a teacher to child ratio of 1:3 (state ratio is 1:4).   Infant I is kept to a maximum of 6 babies and Infant II 9 babies.

Age appropriate activities are planned to help promote the development of each child based on their individual developmental needs. This is shown through the use of monthly photographs showing the children "at work".
